Things don change, before it was about receiving money, gifts from Uncles, Aunties, Parents now its the other way around... then sounds of banger, knockout ushers in the season, now everywhere is so quiet as if we dey fear to make noise. I grew up in Warri, I had Waffi Christmas...that was FUN!!! Before I write too much oya watch the video...how was Christmas for you growing up?

  1. Christmas growing up was so much fun as well, the knockouts and oh, lol... Recall the very first time I saw fireworks, we all thought electric pole was sparking, see run. Including all the yawo(visiting family and friends from house to house, the money) sharing food. Now I'm spending it for the first time away from home, its a lonely and almost boring eve :( merry xmas to u all reading this, have fun!

  2. I can so relate with how you feel. Last week, I asked wifey if I'm still normal as I don't feel as "Christmasy" as I used to when I was much younger. The responsibility that comes with being an adult....

  3. sooo true...christmas growing up for me was sooo much fun, I remember all my family members use to go to my grandparents house in Ibadan and we always had mad fun! Every christmas all the kids acted the xmas story, listen to stories told by our uncle and grandparents, and be high on sugar! lol! It wasn't even really about xmas clothes, gifts or money, we just enjoyed being around each other playing, lighting knock outs and fooling around (pranking our parents *mischievous laugh*) oh how i miss those days!! Merry Christmas Guys! Have a blessed one!
