At this year's edition of Social Media Week Lagos, Pulse Nigeria will host a panel session themed "How Digital Video Is Changing Us". The panel discussion will explore the emergence of digital video in Nigeria and Africa. Register for this event here. The Internet has changed the way we interact with and consume content. In today's world, traditional media formats are, at best, secondary in terms of how consumers access content.

SISIYEMMIE ON THE PANEL FOR CNN SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK LAGOS!

In less than 24 hours we will be discussing How Live Video Can Transform African Storytelling . Video is rapidly changing the journalistic storytelling landscape through social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. CNN Africa’s Stephanie Busari will be hosting the panel with myself and other digital influencers on the continent to discuss the impact of video and how it can be used to create dynamic storytelling. I've been doing video for a while now and on YouTube we are almost at 50, 000 subscribers ... this is why this topic is very interesting to me.

I JUST WATCHED AN AWESOME SHORT MOVIE - BARIGA SUGAR!

I saw a tweet about this short film "Bariga Sugar" and I almost dismissed it but I'm glad I didn't. It was 21 minutes 18 seconds well spent last night and I'm like...I can't enjoy this alone, I'll share my great finds with you! I loved it and hope they start a web series off of this! It's different and fresh and all the web series we have now are ....kind of like the same thing : love, marriage etc. Maybe it was the Ishan or the pidgin they were speaking that made me love it...I don't know.

MTN FOUNDATION SCHOLARS ALUMNI CONFERENCE BEGINS TODAY

The MTN Foundation Scholars Alumni Conference commences today, February 23, 2017 at the Immaculate Royal International Hotel Owerri in Imo State, with Abuja and Lagos scheduled for March 2 and 8 respectively.

I' m a lover of the arts and the performances at the MTNF/MUSON Valentine Concert blew me away! It was awesome! I cannot believe we have such talent in Nigeria; I sang along when Joshua David and Miracle Ogor performed the Elephant Medley from Moulin Rouge and I was on my feet, clapping frantically while "wowing" after Perpetual Atife aka Perpie played the Saxophone to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You"...that was emotional for me sha.
