LIFE IN LAGOS :SISI WEEKLY EP. #73 : CHRISTMAS IS FOR THE KIDS

This is how we spent Christmas this year, 2016. Growing up as a child I was always so excited about Christmas-I looked up to my parents to create the perfect Christmas...as I grew older I realised that being an adult comes with responsibilities. Now I'm a parent,  I have to make Christmas a fun, memorable time for my little one. These are the times he will remember and hopefully always cherish. I spent Christmas thinking about the circle of life

TITO TODDLER LOOK BOOK FEATURING RUFF 'N' TUMBLE KIDS

It is gradually dawning on me that Christmas is for kids: you have to do all you can to create special, long lasting memories for them, and the first step is usually this "Christmas Cloth" business. As a child that was always the highlight-what I'm wearing for Christmas to Church. Till I graduated to that person responsible for cooking Christmas food. Here I am now. The Mummy. The Wife. The Organiser of Christmas.

HOW I LOST WEIGHT FROM SIZE 16-10 + GIVEAWAY!

This has got to be the most requested video/blog post I have had and I can understand why. I went from size 8 to size 16 real quick after getting pregnant and having a baby all within 1 year...I never esperrrred it! As a Lifestyle blogger I was not allowed to be an orobo in peace as the comments I got were unpleasant, add hormones into the matter, it was not an easy time.

Iron is more essential to our bodies than you think!

When I wrote the last article about iron deficiency (click here to find it), honestly, I hadn’t thought it would be so much of a big deal. I had only responded to a cause I felt obliged to be a part of, being a woman myself. However I must confess the responses that followed the article have been nothing short of an eye opening as well as encouraging.

WHERE ARE THE 3.5 MILLION NIGERIANS INFECTED WITH HIV/AIDS? BY DIMOSTHENIS SAKELLARIDIS

The intention of the title is not to scare or stigmatize any reader but to generate an intelligent discussion about the scourge of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. In a country of 189 million people, 3.5 million may seem like an insignificant number. However, I know of some countries with population’s less than 3.5 million people and I cannot imagine what the future of such a country would look like if all their citizens were infected with HIV/AIDS. The picture of such an imagination would be a monumental tragedy of devastating proportions! Horrendous statistics in Nigeria pegs the HIV/AIDS infected population at 3.5 million and either way you look at it, it is no mean figure.
