SISIYEMMIE ON THE PULSE PANEL FOR SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK LAGOS!
At this year's edition of Social Media Week Lagos, Pulse Nigeria will host a panel session themed "How Digital Video Is Changing Us". The panel discussion will explore the emergence of digital video in Nigeria and Africa. Register for this event here. The Internet has changed the way we interact with and consume content. In today's world, traditional media formats are, at best, secondary in terms of how consumers access content.
The panel discussion will take a critical look at the emergence of social communities, video demand and new marketing strategies to capitalise off this form of new media.
The panel includes Aniekan Etuhube, Managing Director, Video, at Pulse Nigeria; Tunde Kara, Director of Sales and Business Development at Pulse Nigeria; and Sisi Yemmie, lifestyle vlogger and social media marketer. Princess Abumere, Deputy-Editor-In-Chief at Pulse Nigeria, will moderate.
The panel will discuss how consumer behavior directly affects what's produced and how that content is distributed as well as how the migration from traditional to digital TV has encouraged short format videos amongst other topics. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at the SMW Studio 2B (capacity 100), Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos from 1:30-2:30pm.
