SISIYEMMIE ON BBC AFRICA : DID I ECHO YOUR THOUGHTS ON FUEL SCARCITY?

Mama I made it on BBC!!! Whoohoo!!! Now on to the serious gist, I spoke to BBC Africa about the pain those of us in Nigeria are suffering because of this fuel scarcity and you can listen in the podcast below:

  • I talked about this yeye heat and the heat rash my baby has!
  • How my fridge and freezer be like cupboard!
  • How my movement has been constrained-no more mainland to island. I sit put.
  • How it is complicating marriages because I don't know of anyone that will queue in the morning and night, live in heat and still want to knack akpako!

I talk about a lot and I hope I echoed your thoughts on this fuel scarcity situation? Oya follow the link  HERE

Ps. Sisi Weekly is being updated oh, so look out for that tonight/tomorrow (I cannot say 100% tonight and my oga at the top, PHCN will say another tin)

  4. Yes you did. Just hope this fuel & light wahala will end soon - just dont know how much longer we have to bear. And the heat is just something else.Abeg govt should do something fast. Even if they cant give us light, they should let us have fuel so we can use our generators.

  13. Sisi Yemmie I'm an avid follower of yours both on IG and ofcourse your vlog. Initially watching your vlog with my kids was meant to vicariously live thru you since we live here in America and haven't been back home since 2008, but recently especially with way things are going in nigeria it's so disheartening. I pray and hope it gets better as we long to visit naija soon. Not to sound ignorant or rude it also makes me appreciate what we have over here (stability) and stop complaining of insignificant things. Watching your blog makes even my kids appreciate the life they have here and be more thankful to God for the little they have. I feel so bad and sorry for my handsome Tito and other children suffering the same fate and pray for God's divine intervention in our country nigeria. Stay blessed dear and keep the up beat spirit up...love you much. Congrats on making it to BBC Africa greater heights I pray for you in Jesus name

  15. Goodness Sisi you spoke the truth!! The situation is crazy! I feel for everyone back home! My parents and my baby brother are in Nigeria now and I just can't cope with what they are having to go through. This is a problem for the rich and the poor. Who cares if the problem will end in the second week of April, this should never have been a problem to begin with! What is it going to take for the people at the top to start doing what is in the best interest of the people?

  16. You said it all. The suffer is too much. As a beauty blogger, my makeup doesn't stay put as I use handkerchief all the time to dry my sweat. Even primer no fit stop the sweat and PHCN is not even worth taking about. I find it hard to go online because of Battery. It is just sad.

  20. BBC Africa? Wow!!! Congrats! And you're extremely right. We stopped having light since January. All they do is flash it. I always dread the night because the heat can run someone mad. Most times my hubby has to fan me for hours till i fall asleep. Now fuel scarcity has joined to make life unbearable. God help us o
