SISIYEMMIE IS SIX : BLOGGING GIVEAWAYS, TIPS & MORE !

It is amazing to me that I've been blogging for six years & what was a hobby has become a brand, a business ... basically my markaet is selling. And it is all because of YOU! I am grateful today for my journey so far and for the support I get. From the days of Gistdotcom...look at us now...

I typically do not make a big deal of my blogversaries but this one is different because of so many reasons:

  • I am in a different place in my life so I can look back and appreciate how far I have come.
  • I made the transition (more like plunged) into full time blogging last year
  • I do not take anything for granted anymore! 6 years blogging is a big deal!

From the first day in 2010 when Bobo encouraged me to start a blog and I did, God has blessed it. I said a prayer, "God please bless the work of my hands, even if na purewater I dey sell I go make am".

God answers prayers.

There is a God that answers prayers.

However all these awesome benefits did not just come in one day and without effort. I put my ALL into this and a lot of you know this! I am PASSIONATE about being a blogger and a content creator! I film, edit, write EVERYTHING myself. I love what I do and I work hard at it!

No matter how much I love what I do, if you didn't like it then I wouldn't be here. So you see how important YOU are? Una too much! I have people who have been reading my blog from  Day 1 (God bless YOU!), I receive countless emails of encouragement (this is emotional for me) and I want to thank you for the LOVE. I can feel it. I ALWAYS pray for my readers, as you have made me so HAPPY, JOY will never be far from you!

This is why today's post is to appreciate you and let you know that :
  • I have a GIVEAWAY everyday THIS WEEK - Click HERE for the GIVEAWAYS
  • You are free to ASK me any question (email or in comments) & I will answer on Friday.
  • I will be sharing Blogging Tips and Lessons I've Learned so far.
  • You get to see Behind The Scenes of Being A Blogger (If you watch my Vlogs you already see  a lot)
Stay tuned, and don't forget to share this so other's can benefit from what is to come in the following days.

Ps. Asoebi is ready but if you have colours: teal, pink and yellow you are good to go!

  29. Wow!!!. Congrats Sisi. I have been hooked to this blog from the days of gistdotcom. I remember a post about rats knocking on your door when you were still in the UK. Loooool. Or is the post about your younger sister's wedding/proposal. I remember you saying you kissed in front of your parents. Big girl ti de. I remember when that ish with your mum happened. I prayed so much that colleagues thought we were related. Congrats to you hun. Your positive energy inspires me.

Now my question is more like an advice from you. I work on the Island in a law firm but I feel like I am not fulfilling purpose. Everyone thinks I'm crazy after spending 7 years to study law all thanks to Aluta Strike, ASUU Strike and Law School I want to leave and be an entrepreneur. I am not happy at all. I want to be self made and not wait till 1st day of the month for my daily bread.. My dreams are to have a creche, a cleaning company and my first love A Quick Service Restaurant. All this dreams require funds and its not like my present job pays me so well. I'm confused sisi. My wedding is in a couple of weeks. Hubby thinks I should still continue as we need the money from both of us. Everyday I'm in traffic on Third mainland, I feel like my life is wasting. Wish we can actually meet and sit to talk. I need someone to talk to me on how to fulfill purpose by doing what they like irrespective of non-availability of funds. I really do. Waiting to read your advice.

    1. what i would like to tell you is that everything in life has a purpose ;strenght comes when you overcame the obstacles you are definetely not ready to plundge :did you write down your goals ,have you seen where you could study to have a formation ,do you have money on the side ?what about how much it costs for all of that ,your spouse full support ,have you been sparing money towards your dream ,what skills have you for cooking?write down your goals ,have a realistic time setting maybe try doing it as a leisure but be SMART do your homework don't just dream on nothing.Work towards your dream and in the meantime learn as much as you can on yourself, your resilience and law it will be of hand one day

  36. Am so glad for you sisi Yemmie, I thanked God you found your unique voice, in times when everyone thinks blogging is about gossip, to make a difference is not easy, You continue to inspire us other lifestyle bloggers, and to commit us on staying on blogger.
My giveaway requests is for you to brand my blog like yours if that is one of the giveaways , still waiting for the blogging tips though.

@Keji, I hope you find fulfillment, my dear, I have been there, there is no job worth going through stress and draining life out of you for. My advice is for you to work few more months but with a purpose in mind, saving and storing contacts for future use, Save your salary for the new startup, it is not easy starting a new family on only one individuals 's income, that is where your fiance fears comes in, and you should not take a loan to start new business, meanwhile, start spreading word of mouth that you want to start your business, start building a brand on social media, tell friends and get feedback, but no matter what never be discouraged and pursue your dream, it is the best reward you can give yourself.

  47. I would love love loveeee (puppy eyes) to win the weekend getaway because i need a revamping of my general well being, you know, like a mind spa for two days. I have been overwhelmed for a while with everything surrounding me; this country doesnt even make it any easier, all i can do is pray that things improve. I work at Apapa and knowing that Area. It is synonymous with stress alone. Theres only so much i can do but this chance to refresh my mind and body would be everything. Plus the meals! Omg!!! I wouldnt mind being pampered and cooked for.
Thank you in advance for the loveee. Even the boo knows about you. Always asking who sisi yemmie is. He finally watched an episode last weekend and he said "i like her, shes real" ... We love uuuu
