ANKARA HEAD WRAP TUTORIAL

I picked out this Ankara scarf from my mom's collection  on my last trip to Warri. She has a lot of short scarf she does nothing with, a lot of Naija moms do. This one is such a beautiful pattern and it inspired the head wrap style-I love head wraps especially on days when I don't know what to do with my hair.

  4. I second you on the naija moms with their 1million head scarves observation. My mom has this GIANT silver trunk in her closet that is filled with 101 head ties, wrappers, lace materials, you name it! And the funny part is that she has not touched 98% of them. I almost feel like I will carry this trend on because I already have my little treasure chest of materials that were given to me by male visitors and there mothers as bribery to choose them. lool. I guess that's how my mom got hers too.
