REVIEW: FEDERAL PALACE HOTEL SUNDAY BUFFET!

On this fateful Sunday I chose to go to Federal Palace Hotel Lagos, it's located in Victoria Island…I have never been there before (I’m slowly losing my JJC badge oh)…and you know I love Buffets…can’t say no. I hear Federal Palace has been around for a while sha…but to me it was a new experience. I went just for the buffet this time but next time I will go for their pool behind…it’s gorgeous…you should go there. I will go do a review. I took a stroll around the hotel and they have this place behind…great for photos and great for just taking a romantic stroll with  your le boo. #ValentineTinz

We're back to this gay issue...again! Ok.. this time Sally Kohn, a writer for CNN tweeted and wrote an article on CNN that Disney to start making cartoons that showcase  gay culture...as in a princess will marry a princess and a prince will marry a prince. Read some of the excerpts below.

It was such an intimate event, I haven't stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend. I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because i usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe! I am not fully over it yet.

THE DRAMATICS OF FASTING!

When I went to Church on New Years eve and the Pastor announced 100 days of fasting (RCCG) I almost somersaulted from my seat! I was not alone...suddenly the auditorium was filled with "ahs', yeeeehh"... and lots of murmuring like bees swarming honey. Who send me come Church today? I know some people there were wishing they are members of other churches, I know...I know because my mind stroll reach that side.

However, the fast is all for our good, it is a destiny changing kind of fast and I am determined oh. ! I have to be honest with you people, I have been trying, struggling on some days and that is exactly what I want to gist you. It easy to fast on weekdays when I'm going to work and will be distracted from my hunger for most of the day...me that I have puff-puff lover, plus that mama Bisi rice I always buy downstairs, plus chin-chin on third mainland bridge...now I see food and turn away. O ma se o.

SAME-SEX (GAY) MARRIAGE BAN IS IN LINE WITH NIGERIA'S CULTURAL & RELIGIOUS BELIEFS...YES/NO?

It’s been all over the web, yes, same-sex marriage, homosexuality is now criminalised in Nigeria! Rueben Abati, spokesperson for the president confirms: 

“I can confirm that the president has signed the bill into law," Abati said, without specifying a date but adding that it happened earlier this month. 

"More than 90 percent of Nigerians are opposed to same-sex marriage. So, the law is in line with our cultural and religious beliefs as a people," 

"And I think that this law is made for a people and what [the] government has done is consistent with the preference of its environment." 

According to the study of 39 nations by the US Pew Research Center, Nigerians are the least tolerant nation when it comes to gays, with 98 percent surveyed saying society should not accept homosexuality. Nigeria is also a highly religious society, with its 70 million people roughly divided in half between Christians and Muslims and a minority practicing other religions.

REVIEW: THE BANKY AND TIWA SHOW!

I love to do all kinds of reviews and today we're reviewing The Banky and Tiwa Show! Just in-case you were not aware, Banky W aka Yes/No and Tiwa Savage aka Kele Kele Love have come together to create a show which promises to be exciting. I love that these two are doing it together and I hope that it is a hit! You can watch it on Ebony Life TV (DSTV)

The episode I saw was titled Addicted To You and it was just about discussing addictions, Seyi Law, Tosyn Bucknor and Lynxx Utunnu were guests and I particularly loved the energy Tosyn brought to the show. Who knew Lynxxx was a lover of tea??? And Tosyn admitted being addicted to coke, and falling in love. Lovergirl l'omo! LOL

I have to say that Banky seemed to be having a good time, he was very vocal and interactive with the guest and camera, I was actually surprised at how he composed himself as if he's been doing this for a while. In fact he talked for both Tiwa and Himself.
