MONDAY CHIT-CHAT : LAUNCHES AND UNVEILINGS!

Hey darlings! How's everyone doing? Hope you had an amazing weekend...I did until this morning when I heard news of the Bomb blast at Nyanya, Abuja. It is so sad and heart-wrenching to see those pictures, Nigeria is so blessed without natural disasters but these man made disasters abound. Let us pray for the souls of those departed and for our own peace. Also, don't forget that the first to leave a comment + email wins airtime recharge.

Halleluyah! 100 days fasting don end oh! It ended on Friday...Wow! From January 2nd to April 11th, it's all due to God's faithfulness, mercy and grace. I remember sha that the instruction was "if you miss one day, you make up with 2 days", so how many of you have carry overs? don't be shy...

Earlier last week I attended the launch of Maggi Chicken, I met Toke Makinwa, Bovi, Tuface and Annie Idibia and a lot of other people...It was so much fun and there was food! Ghana High and White House were the cooks of the day, there were Ipads that were won through a dancing competition and I think everyone went home with a goody bag. If you attended do let me know.
On Friday I attended the unveiling of FanRoyale Premium Icecream by Fanmilk Nigeria PLC .Here are the new flavours: Cappuccino Chocholate Chip, Rum 'N Raisin and my favourite...Vanilla Strawberry Striping! Have you seen it in stores? You should check it out and have a taste...yummy! There will be an event this week at Ikeja Shopping Mall but I'll let you know before that day because there'll be goodies for you :) I met Ariyike Akinbobola and Laide of Exschoolnerd (her blog was the first Nigerian blog I ever read). I have to give a special shout out to Debisi who is such a warm and friendly soul! It was lovely to meet you in person!

The highlight of my Saturday was visiting my friend Tomi aka Clarine, I can't believe its been 5 years since we last met, that was when I was the Chief Brides Maid at her wedding. Now she has two lovely kids, Moyin and Moyo (is it just me or most families with a Moyo have a Moyin too?) Does the baby look familiar to you? She ought to, that's baby Moyosore that was runner up at the Cusson's baby competition., again, thank you for voting for her. The kids are so cute!!!
On Sunday I went through the famous Isaac John street at Ikeja GRA...so many places yet to be discovered oh. Bobo and I had lunch at Rodizzio Restaurant, I can't wait to bring you the review!!! No pictures yet. By the time we finished eating, we were looking for a bed, absolutely stuffed! I also have to give a shout out to Gbenga Alakija who recommended the Restaurant and also surprised us at our table with a bottle of wine! Such a nice guy.

I had an interview with Biodun Adebiyi Dapherede of EatPrayOverachieve over the weekend, you can read the interview here THE SISIYEMMIE INTERVIEW

I wish the best for us this new week, and may God deliver us from evil. Don't be like the people Frank Donga is describing in this video oh, have a purpose: don't be merrygorounding and dillydallying. Click the top left to hear the audio.
Have a great week!
