MY PUFF - PUFF LOVER...

Since I started going to my new job, life has changed for me; I drive through the scary Third Mainland Bridge twice a day, I wake up at half 5 every morning, on somedays I hit snooze, wake up at 6 and start panicking like a headless chicken! And then I buy puff-puff..... almost every morrin.

E get one puff-puff guy wey I discover the first week I started working inside one koro. For those who are curious, I work somewhere in Marina, Lagos, Nigeria (you didn't watch my relocation VIDEO?) and some of you know that is right inside abi next to the great Balogun market! Ol' boy! That guy puff-puff sweet nor be suumall! It is usually so hot and fresh when I buy it. If you dey reach the area I can hook you up... LOL

The first week I bought from him, I dey pay 10 naira each for 1 puff puff, however I noticed as the days were progressing, my  50 naira puff-puff portion began to increase, some days he go muni 1 extra, on other days 2. Sometimes 3. I love muni, I ask for muni anywhere I go. Muni = Jara. Jara = Extra. Imagine chopping that puff-puff with hot tea in the morning...this life sweet oh! *licks lips*

Ehn... *scratches head*... yesterday make am more than 2 weeks I don dey buy puff-puff, so I say I nor go buy again, because all my body don dey puff up, yansh dey increase, bobby dey increase, cheeks dey increase, belle too don dey resemble puff-puff. I na say I will not buy again oh...as I was na sneakily driving to dodge, puff-puff master swiftly crossed the road to stop me and handed me a nylon bag of puff-puff...

"Ah, bros, I nor get money today oh, may be tomorrow...." perhaps he thought I was buying my "usual". Oh! What excellent customer service!

"No sist, na dash I dash you...." he said grinning like a lovesick puppy. He was too excited; suspicious behaviour.

Dash gini?

I had a puzzled look on my face, said my thank you's and drove dazedly to my office. When I parked, I counted and noticed he gave me 10 puff-puffs for free. Brethren, I'm scared... if I suddenly stop talking about Bobo, please you people should know it's jazz oh. Its the puff-puff guy.

I still chopped the puff-puff.
Get thee behind me!

Ps.I love Lagos!

  22. haahhaha i love puff puff o! The other day i went to buy fish roll and meat pie. No one has time to make breakfast in the morning, so I always make sure i have those frozen in my freezer; when it's time to head out, warm one up and I am out.

How about they now made the mistake of bringing out hot puff puff in front of me; lets just say, i bought and ate alot of puff puff right there in the restaurant. Thinking about it now sef, I'll make sure i go buy some tomorrow.
