MONDAY CHIT-CHAT! GUESS WHO I MET???

Hey Guys!!! It's September! (just incase you didn't know) and I would like to start this month on a positive note, but first of all how was your weekend??? Mine was fun, dramatic, and tiring honestly. In my last Monday Chit Chat, someone mentioned that weekends are like China products, they never last, and I agree! Just a few minutes ago, it was friday, now It's Monday! Sigh.

So Sisi Yemmie what did you do Friday night? He he he.... Bobo Yomi came to Lagos and we got to spend that evening together, we haven't seen each other in 4 months, imagine that! This Long Distance relationship tinz odikwa very very frustrating nna! we watched a bit of TV and frankly, I don't know what happened afterwards....abeg make una nor ask me kweshun. LOL.
Semilore in his attire and his cake

On Saturday, I slept in a bit, but errr had to wake up to attend to different things. It was my Semilore's birthday parry!!!! Gbo gbo fanta, gbo gbo jollof rice, gbo gbo eferytin! You don't know Semilore? He's my son-in-law: I have managed to dash all my unborn, unconceived daughters to the son's of my friends, at this rate I have to produce about 8 daughters. I need to get to that! Yomi, take note. LOL. Anyways, Semilore was 1! The big ONE! Here are some pictures, of Semi, Bobo and Sisi. Just yesterday he was a tiny baby that we brought home...sniff sniff...these kids grow up fast! See video I made when he was born at the bottom of the page.

Semilore & parents
Ehen, on Sunday was thanksgivng service, so Bobo and I decided to attend the first service oh, but someone had to shave his bia-bia (side eye) and wasted time so we  had to wait for second service. Hmmmm... I decided since we have time on our hands before second service why don't we film the video we promised? So we filmed our LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP TIPS video which will be up on YouTube maybe this week. See how we think about you guys? especially those of you that asked us questions and requested this video. We love you.

Semilore & mom

After the video, we went to chuch and it was Amazzzzzzzzing! 8 babies were dedicated and 2 marriages blessed. Hmmm our church members have been obeying the word of the Lord, going forth to multiply and fill the earth! Attending Church with Bobo made me feel good because this was the 1st time in over 5 years or so that we've been to church alone together ( apart from attending weddings etc). It was worth celebrating, so we did with Shawarmar!( and majorly becuase errrr I was too tired to cook!) How do these Lagos families cope? I don't even have babies yet, not married, no wifely responsibilities, yet I'm finding it hard to cope.

Later on we had to go to the airport and guess who I spotted? well Bobo did the spotting, I did the famzing, I met Ras Kimono! Abi una nor remember Ras Kimon, ayaga yaga yaga yooooo! Just seeing him took me back to the 80's!
Ras Kimono & Sisi
I think, honestly, that was almost the highlight of my day... LOL. Went home afterwards  to make Yam porridge[ I brought some of the porridge to work today for my lunch] see the amazing RECIPE HERE

BOBO WAS HAPPY
After making porridge I had to sharply  attend a business meeting at Ikeja Mall and then race home to make my hair, LOL. I'm laughing because it's such a strange hairstyle...I will upload pictures in another post so you can see... and JUDGE! I've been getting all sorts of comments today about the hair...

Whew... I have so much to say this morning sha.. but I don't want to bore you guys... I wish you all a fantastic September, awesome week and may all your sweet dreams come true: things can only get better! Sometimes when life happens it's easy to get discouraged but what keeps me going is the hope of a brighter future, my hope is built on God's promises, don't let life overwhelm you. Make we take am jeje this month... one day at a time!

Oh! Here's a video of when I visited Semilore when he was less than a week old!
