6 REASONS TO LOVE WARRI!

I've spent the past few days back home in Warri and I got reminded of all the things I love about this place. I love Warri nor be small and I dey always thank God say na there I bin grow. The foundation is solid. A lot of people have asked if I'm originally from Warri, I'm not oh but I lived there most of my life so I can claim abi? I love Warri so much I wore the Itsekiri traditional wear for my wedding HERE

THE FOOD
Everyone needs to have Banga Soup and Starch, Banga Rice, Ukodo at least once in their lifetime! I cannot explain the awesomeness of these dishes, your tastebuds will tell you.

LANGUAGE
Waffi pidgin is one of the best around, e dey sweet for mouth and I believe this is one of the reasons Warri comedians are hilarious. E go hard for Akpororo, I Go Die, Bovi to nack joke and e nor go totori your belle.

NO FEARING OF FACE
The perception a lot of people have of Warri/Delta State people is that they are very bold in the face of danger, very courageous, dem nor dey fear face at all. Before Warri guy talk "I go woze you oh" he don break bottle and dem don chook human being. Things escalate pretty quickly.

SENSE OF HUMOUR
Look at IgoDie and all the other comedians that we have from Warri-their sense of humour is unparalleled! Mesef get small funny bone so I know say de tin dey de blood. Warri people know how to find the humour in situations and you can trust that the clown in your class is that Akpos from Warri.

FASHION
My mom wears two-wrapper most of the time and I love it! I mean, take a look at it and tell me what's not to love? I always feel like royalty anytime I tie two wrapper-this hasn't happened more than twice sha. LOL. See my friends wedding HERE and HERE. You can also see my wedding photos HERE
