TIWA SAVAGE "WANTED" | THE VIDEO EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT !

Mavin's First Lady don cause wahala! Hmmmm... some say she's Nigeria's Beyonce, do you agree? Some even say she's Nigerias Beyonce and Rihanna rolled into one. The internet has been buzzing since the release of this video. It was directed by Moe Musa and it shows Tiwa in a brown skin hugging cat suit giving sultry moves. While she's getting backlash for being too "sezzually" explicit *cough cough, others are commending her effort as a daring lady.
Here are some of the comments on YouTube:

"This video is advanced bullshit, first class crap, arrant rubbish and visual assault on my moral sense. It justifies defiance of the Nigerian Image of descent career focused married womanhood. I am disappointed. This na kelekele embarrassment."

"This video is beautiful and what I've been waiting for from you thanks for coming back to why I loved you!!women need to stop repressing their sexuality!"

"This video is really disappointing for a wife who is an African first of all, our traditions and morals forbid this nonsense and come to speak of it Tiwa, are you doing this for the American audience or for the AFRICAN ? because if the former is it, then you better know where your bread is buttered or you eat an empty plate. For your information American audience don't see our music videos. So set your priority right! Because if you had started with this kind of rubbish your career wouldn't have seen the limelight."

"Well done tiwa. Been waiting for a female Naija artist to charge up on some Rihanna shit"

What do you think? Is it too racy?

  1. The problem is not the raciness, the problem is that it looks like she is trying too hard to be sexy and it is no longer appealing.

  2. I've seen the video. Personally don't have anything against it. Don't see anything wrong too. We are embracing western cultures and the blame 1 person for a video? Let's check ourselves 1st. We celebrate Halloween and all.. It's not African but we do it.. That video was influenced by the western culture we are emulating.

  4. Not appealing at all... Trying too hard! Old woman... The body suit is very tacky, doesn't fit her well and shows the fact that her shape is not as fantastic as I thought, yuck! She looks dirty and cheap... She should be herself! Beyonce and Rihanna dont over do it like she did in this video and it works well for them! Less is best! Haba! She just got married now and still in honeymoon phase why is she acting like an old sex starved woman?! ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!

  5. I dont see anything wrong with the video actually, but that outfit was absolutely hideous..it was like miley cyrus kind of sexy..if she wanted to go sexy and raunchy, she should look to beyonce and even Rihanna for inspiration...The outfit just looked really cheap and didnt flatter her shape at all. She seemed pretty desperate for attention.

  6. Hmmmn, I see Tiwa going the Whitney Houston way. Since she married Tbillz, its one crap after the other. The guy is only interested in his cut as a manager. Lemme take several seats and see where she will be in the next 5 years

  7. I didn't like Tiwa because of efforts like this,I liked her because she was different and even little children could watch her videos. If she continues like this, she might end up losing her fan base. One reason I still like and respect Asa,she doesn't feel the need to expose to be heard.

  10. Tiwa nice video but you don't need all that exposure to be heard

  11. We should just open our minds and stop hiding behind the phrase 'we are African women'. There's nothing wrong with the video

  12. U know. If the best part of this whole video were just to be selected and used as a scene for a more conservative video of this song it'l hve been better. She was trying tooooooo hard to be sexy. It's like when I'm trying to re-create one of bovi or basket mouth's joke to some1 and the person just smiles instead of a huge laugh I expect. U can't be some1 else because that some1 else is being themselves so that slot is occupied. Just be urself tiwa. Ur fans love u for who u'v bn. You don't have to try nd be some1 else.

  13. This video is a hodgepodge of racy and confusing, I am disinterested though, I am just perplexed that she's acting all defensive on IG & posting tweets of fellow celebs applauding her! If it suits her morals and ber husband loves it so be it! She actually promised SEXY guess shes only vindicating herself.

  17. All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good people to sit and do nothing.

The video disturbs my conscience. I dunno how she was able to do that. Good luck to her. I hope she doesn't follow the path of Whitney Houston and co.

  18. I think she was pretending all along, now she's showing her real self. God help her.
