DETAILS ABOUT MY FISH BONE BRAIDS aka TREE BRAIDS aka AFRICAN QUEEN!!!

I bless the day Sewa introduced me to Fish bone braids, I have never looked back. This is my favorite braids to do and I'll tell you why:
  • I ALWAYS get compliments whenever I do fish bone braids...cars just dey jam each other, traffic everywhere! I nor dey lie!
  • It lasts for at least a month, this is value for money: I don't like to waste money there are other things I need money, so I love that it lasts so long.
  • Not time consuming when getting it done, maximum is usually 4 hours, staying for long making my hair always leaves me cranky.
  • It's flexible: braids but I can brush it like a weave, put it in a ponytail,  the best of both worlds really.
  • It always looks fab on me, never fails.
WHAT WAS USED
I used Xpression extension, yes the popular Xpression and the lady that curled the tips with a hot iron and hot water the day she made it. Till date, the current one I have one still holds the curls and it's been over a month! Imagine that!
DESCRIPTION OF THE STYLE
It is like Ghana weaving but as she's weaving she plucks out a strand of hair as she goes along. It's hard to explain. The back is usually pick and drop because the hair the is shorter.
How it looks from behind, the edges and the insides.
Other times in the past 2 years  I've rocked this hair.
I uploaded this video in March but never shared it here, I have been getting a lot of questions about this particular hairstyle lately so I need you to see the video. If you want the stylists number, send an email to sisiyemmie@gmail.com. The lady that used to do it for me in London/Birmingham says she has a job now so no time for making hair :(

    1. It's braided all the way through. It's similar to Ghana weaving, but they just bring out hair the whole time.

It's also called Tree Braids in the US

  15. Another stylist here based in London, trained in Lagos and Atlanta, and I do this well! It does not break your hair, you can put it up in a pony tail and if your hair is long, the back does not have to be pick and drop, you can have the back the same way, the front is braided only you will braid it horizontally.Like Sisi said, you can use expressions, and blowdry, or you can use a tong and hot water to curl it, or you can use, human hair (looks beautiful with human hair) batik hair, or freetress hair. You can also use dry shampoo on it, to freshen up the install. We also do home service, we can send someone to your place (also trained in Lagos) depending on where you live. email hairmillionaire@gmail.com.
