SUNDAY BEST : OUTFIT OF THE DAY !

When I posted my birthday vlog (click HERE to see it ) a lot of YOU wanted to see my outfit in FULL. I didn't want to share before because of my current oroboliciousness but you won. Here is the outfit I wore on the Sunday before my birthday (Monday)...

I told the tailor...Make me something that won't make me look fat (the struggle...sigh)...she tried her best. LOL. I wanted a skirt but because I wanted something that I would fit in any size I told her to make it a wrap skirt...like a wrapper.  So it has two ropes at each end that i tie at the back. Really convenient.
As for these shoes, don't think that was a fancy fashion blogger pose oh...my feet couldn't fit in it. All my shoes I had before I got pregnant don't fit. TILL NOW! Pesin dey fat reach leg??? O ma ga o. Anyways, I managed to wear the shoe for like 5 minutes...in reality I wore a flat slippers to Church. *covers face*
Do I look slimmer like this? ...argh these boobies!
How about now???
This is the back of the blouse...please ignore those folds...they're coming off soon. I love that she used a multicoloured zip to match the skirt.
Oya crop it, do I look slimmer now???
In black and white nko?

Half way through taking the pictures I told Uncle Junior, "I can't do this"....just because I didn't like how big I was looking and no angle made me look slimmer.  So I didn't take a lot of photos to really show details. We stopped the photo session. I went back into the house and consoled myself with AFMAG Yoruba...
Thank you for looking through these photos!

  2. Awww Sisi! All the reference to your weight made me feel really uncomfortable for you. Stop picking on yourself, you look absolutely beautiful!! These are new curves that baby Tito blessed you with! But if you really really don't like it, then you can change it. Just change your diet and start exercising everyday. You look gorgeous Sisi, we can all agree to that! It's that hot momma body!! =D

  7. Awhh, sisi yemmie. You look beautiful. Embrace ur body just the way it is and do not feel bad about it. Some people are lucky, they never add weight in pregnancy, and a month after birth they have recovered their body. Well some of us aren't that lucky. I get really big when pregnant. (I gain an average of 20kg, yes kg not pounds o), My feet also increases in size. When you are done with exclusive breastfeeding and when u are psychological ready for the weightloss journey , the weight will come off.

  9. The change is feet/shoe size is actually normal. Its not because you gained weight though. Your arch has fallen. It does not happen to everyone. Please read up about it. Sorry to burst your bubble but those shoes may never fit anymore. Your feet grew longer..

  11. Don't worry everything would go in time, I know the feeling, when I gave birth to my first, I almost felt everyone that brought a camera to take a picture of me was trying to mock me, or would put it up on somewhere like Facebook but with my second, I have decided to rock the body, rock the folds and lose the weight when I am ready. By the way, i did not notice the folds till you said it.

  16. Really sisyemmie, i think you are taking this weight issue too far. While i cant say I understand how you feel because i have never been pregnant before. I understand the need to keep that figure , the need to look and feel good. Believe me i undetstand this.
Sisiyemmie, you have never been prettier o ( andd im not even trying to wash you) you look reaaaaaaally good. The extra boobs, the extra flesh. You really look yummy. There are people who havent even had any baby and they look like your mummy. Calm down u added weight for a good cause. For another human being to be formed. Just take it easy. Onne day at a time. I know some people will say you are a foodie. But really who isnt. Just stock up on healthy food. Stock up pineapplees, apple, yoghurt l, apple. And eat your regular regular food, only reduce the portion. Thats the secret and keep the consumption of junk food to the barest ( you csn have them but dont overindulge) . just take it easy. You ll be fine. Buy a waist trainer. Anything yu think will make you feel good. Dont let annybody mock you o

  18. I love your pictures sisi yemmie. As for d weight, I can relate. You see, I had my baby just about the same period as you, I still can't fit in most of my cloths, all my shoes don't fit any more and I ve refused to take any more pics since after the baby's naming cos I just cldnt look at my self, I bought a waist trainer that I couldn't use after a week cos I felt so uncomfortable in it. But you see, I ve learnt not to be hard on myself at all, and instead of being depressed to and developing a complex about it all, I ve chosen to work on myself one day at time making myself aCcountable for what and how I eat each day. I ve resolved to focus my energy on being active, no mater how litle, each day. And I know with time, one day at a time, the extra weight will come off. I wish you all the best.

  20. Biko, people stop giving Sisi Yemmie diet advise. Quit telling her to stock up on fruits or reduce junk food consumption. She's fine as she is. She just accomplished the biggest thing of her life. Sisi Yemmie, I am not trying to wash you oh, but you are perfect the way you are. Do you know what your body just did? To form, grow, and birth a child? My dear, I throway yansh for you.

If you really want to lose weight, go ahead and do that, but know that you are perfect as you are. Weight is something that is not constant on most people; sometimes you're smaller and sometimes you're bigger, and you don't even have to birth a baby for this to happen. In your case, please admire your body and thank the Lord for what your body has done.

    We need to talk.

  21. I agree with all the posts above, your readers love you the way you are, and we also know you have the strength to go back to your pre baby size if you put in the work. No, it's not magical but with determination and some few lifestyle changes it would happen.

  22. Lol...Firstly boo, you are one pretty mama. Then your personality makes you even more beautiful. Seriously. Fat is mobile baby...IF you want to, YOU ABSOLUTELY can lose it. Like my mama Joyce Meyer would say, You better just look and weigh what GOD wants you to weigh...
I was sooooo here mama, I felt soooo fat and KNEW that this was not just baby fat but food and indiscipline fat.
plus I also LEARNT that this my body is HIS TEMPLE ooo. I can't afford to let it go like that.
indiscipline in one aspect would soon creep into other aspects of my life. Plus I knew hubby would prefer me plenty slimmer tho he never complained but the day I heard him move from calling me BABY to MAMA (not the tush pronunciation but the yoruba old woman one), I knew I had to take responsibility.
As soon as babyboy turned 6mo and I introduced solids, I started working my butts off and eating clean. Tz been tough on my flesh but tz been worth it.
Getting my body back and I feel plenty better. No be you Sisi? If you decide to, you will lose it. If not, then rock your body... You remain beautiful

  24. Sisi, I wasn't going to comment on this but I love you too much to keep quiet. Yes you got this body cos you carried Tito your blessing in your body. Imagine those who have baby mama body yet no baby to show for it. (Through stillbirth or whatever). Rock your body, whenever it starts depressing you, catwalk for Tito and smile... You are beautiful

  29. You are a pretty woman inside and out. Just start eating clean, reduce your carb and sugar intake and workout. You will gain back your body!!! Also try some natural anti-inflammatories such as Bromelain and Tumeric after you stop breast feeding. These will help with the inflammation in your body including your nose being bigger. I am saying this from experience. God bless you and your family.

  32. Hello Sisi. I also gave birth this year. In June to a healthy and adorable baby boy. I totally understand about the weight. And also all my clothes and shoes don't fit anymore. Immediately my baby turned six months the I stopped eating as much, reduced my portions to half of what it used to be. I used to weigh 65kg prior to pregnancy and now I'm sure it's 80kg (I refuse to weigh lol, I was 99kg a week before I gave birth) I'm very determined to return to what I was before. I also got a mat so I can stretch each morning sit ups, squats etc. I have a whole bunch of visuals on my phone. Anyways enough of me. You look beautiful. Shout out to all women who have birthed a child. E no easy.
