REVIEW || MENSTRUAL CUPS BY LUV UR BODY? LET'S TALK ABOUT IT!

Hiya! This one is for the ladies oh and guys are welcome too sha, if the you will be passing the information to females :D . Have you heard about Menstrual Cups? More specifically Luv Ur Body Menstrual Cups?

I had a post about it a while ago but that was before I used it, now I need to give you guys a review. I will make it brief because there's already a video accompanying it. Watch it!!!

So what's a Menstrual Cup? I'll describe it as a wider, shorter variation of a tampon: It is an alternative to sanitary pads which I bet most of us are used to. These cups can last about 3 years but I've only been using mine for about 2 months...It can take you through 12 hours in a day! Don't worry, it is made with quality medical grade silicone approved by the Food And Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States and this material has already been introduced, accepted, and rated by medical professionals for decades.

These cups come in different sizes so if you're a virgin you don't have anything to worry about. LOL. I got the medium sized one which is for ladies under 30 and who haven't had children. It is fantastic for swimming, you don't have to give excuses next time you have to go to the pool

Luv Ur Body Menstrual Cups are not expensive, the average price is $27 (N4500) per cup. Think about how much you spend of sanitary pads every month... if you calculate e fit don reach to buy at least one small car. So you buy it once and for all, at least for the next 3 years.
It's not stressful to take care of the Menstrual Cup, what I basically do is after each use I soak in hot water for about 15 minutes, the instruction manual says 10 minutes , I added 5 more. That's the best way to wash it, you can also use feminine products or products used to disinfect baby bottles. See? Really easy to maintain.

How do you use it? Well, this was the part I was a bit scared of let me not lie to you, but it wasn't bad at all. You only need to fold it and insert it maintaining hygienic standards. See a proper description HERE. There's a more detailed video on their website on how to do it properly. You get no leaks, no uncomfortable feeling. I'm quite surprised.

  9. Since it can only be worn for 12 hours; you'll still need to use pads/tampons either way....

  12. You might want to check out a Menstrual Cup by www.FemmyCycle.com in the USA or www.FemmyCycle.ca in Canada - they have cups that suit all cervix sizes, and they appear to be the best I have seen available ... have a look anyway, I use one and it works well for me :) HappyCampess

  13. Overall Rating
I have just started using the Luv ur body cup in large and I must say this cup is truely amazing. It is extremely comfortable, no leaks ( even though it’s my first time using a Menstral cup).
Luv ur body Menstral cup has completely changed the period game for me. I doubt I can ever go back to using sanitary pads. I recommend the Luv ur body cups 10/10.
