'Racist Britian'...

I would like to believe that the lady in the video below is speaking for a sad, teeny-weeny minority. I hope I am right. However, *clears throat* I've been living in Britain for short while now and I won't say I haven't noticed the 'eye' the spits, comments and the faces some of them make when I pass by, I no send them. It's their country, let them do as they wish.

What is annoying and disgusting however, is the regard and the way WE treat them when they come into our own countries, like they are mini gods, and that is pathetic. We even sell out our own people! I don't blame them, I blame our government for making the grass greener on the other side. Regardless of it all, we are all God's children and should learn to accommodate each other.

*Nagrega? I think she was trying to say Nigeria! lol

P.S Don't forget to enter my giveaway HERE to win a copy of the book THE SMALL PRINT. Winners will be announced Wednesday 30th November! Goodluck!!!

  1. She did pronounce Nigeria after nagrera. That boy with the white bag was ready to throw fists. They say silence is the best answer for dummies. Got nothing to say about what she said, its not news- its been said for years so I don't think anyone is surprised by her utterances or is anyone?

  3. Sisi Yemmie, It is no news that these things exist; we all know how the British are. My pain however is the derogratory way we Nigerians treat each other instead of sticking together. A good example for instance is the way Yoruba people treat other tribes(you may not want to admit it). I have lived most of my life in Lagos and it is irritating having to deal with the condescending manner in which the Yoruba relates to Omo Ibo; as if we are being done a favour(pls!). You work for a Yoruba employer and his Yoruba employees are treated way more nicer than you. In fact the omo ibo is better off as a slave. You go to the market and the Yoruba trader flares up when omo ibo dares to price his goods. You are expected to pay up promptly whatever price the Yoruba trader gives. A price he very well knows his kinsman would never pay.At my place of work, the Yorbuba man's greeting to the Omo ibo is 'how are you', yet when they greet their kinsman, they are almost on bended knees. Are we not all Nigerians? If the Omo Ibo is so lowly, maybe secession would be better so we can stay by ourselves. Dont you think so? By the way I would be very disappointed if you dont publish my post. You would only be reinforcing what so many Yorubas do; they don't like to hear Omo Ibo say a Yoruba man is bad. As if they are all saints, lol. Cheers!

  6. That woman is high on something and sounds very bitter. And she didn't have enough sense not to use swear words esp cos she was carrying a kid. If she continues like that, she will most likely get beaten up. *smh* @ her. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  7. Such bitterness and foul language, even with the child there. Na wa o, the thing must be paining her well. And indeed there are other ignorant, small minded people like that.

  9. Racism hurts, seriously. I contribute to the growth and development of the country by paying my taxes and helping my community, so I have as much right to be anywhere I am, as someone born there! I have no patience for idiots. Thank God I wasn't there, I'd have probably bitchslapped her six ways to Sunday.
