Last week Friday evening, telecoms giant, MTN Nigeria introduced a new customer appreciation program to reward loyal customers of its network. It was an event of fanfare, entertainment and glamour graced by society top shots at the impressive Wheatbaker Hotel.

Guests spotted at the colorful event include the Lagos State Commissioner for Information & Strategy; Steve Ayorinde, chairman of Channels TV; John Momoh, veteran broadcast journalist, Jimi Disu, renowned economist; Bismarck Rewane, entertainment and media entrepreneur; Kenny Ogunbe, Editorial Board Chairman, The Nation's newspaper; Sam Omatseye, Celebrity journalists and bloggers; Sisi Yemmie, Ono Bello, and Azuka Ogujiuba, Publisher of Nigeria's foremost business newspaper; Frank Aigbogun. Other dignitaries present were, Commercial Director, Air France/KLM; Arthur Dieffenthaler and Coscharis’ Divisioner General Manager; Ufuoma Umukoro.

The new proposition from MTN according to its General Manager, Consumer Marketing, Richard Iweanoge is aimed at rewarding loyal customers of the network based on spend and tenure. It is available in 4 categories; Platinum, Gold, Bronze and Silver. Benefits include a world of luxury and exclusive such as free flight tickets and free tickets to premium events.

MTN also showcased exotic cars from Coscharis Motors and art from some of Nigerian's most prestigious artists including Olu Amoda, Rom Isichei, Victor Ehikhamenor, Kainebi Osahenye, Uchay Joel Chima, Obinna Makata, Isaac Emokpae, Uthman Wahab and Modupeola Fadugba, allowing guests to enjoy some of Nigerians most inspiring talents.

While guest wined, dined and socialized, top music acts, Tekno and Praiz took to the stage at various times to entertain them with fine music. Fast-rising comedian, Kenny Black evoked laughter from the guests with his rib-cracking jokes while comedian cum MC, Tee-A looked dapper as he compered the event.
