MUST WATCH: 'WHITE MEANS PURE' DENCIA DEFENDS WHITENICIOUS ON CHANNEL 4 NEWS!

The bleaching debate gets heated! So Dencia was interviewed by Channel 4 News about her product, whitenicious along with Phinnah Ikeji. Is the message it sells controversial? Phinnah Ikeji of Black Role Models UK thinks it's the wrong message for young girls' self-esteem and Dencia should consider this as a role model.

However, Dencia said in this interview that she doesn't want to be anyone's role model. Oh and she believes EVERYONE needs whitenicious. You need to watch this interview to see how she defended herself.

  2. I actually agree with Dencia. She's selling a product and people make a choice to buy it or not. I don't see that as passing a negative message across to young women. Those people that think Dencia's product could influence girls negatively should counter that with their own black is beautiful messages. Then girls can choose. I can't imagine someone asking Beyonce these questions. She doesn't sell Whitenicious but we have seen her transform from a brownish shade to being almost white. Why is she still a role model for girls?
I don't bleach and I don't plan to but I think putting Dencia on the hot seat as if she is the sole influence and role model for girls out there is wrong.
