14 PLACES TO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO IN LAGOS


With Children's Day just around the corner, most kids are wondering what they will do for fun to celebrate and a lot of parents are also looking for a good time for their children. There are so many places you can visit in Lagos but here are my top Places To Take Your Kids To In Lagos, if you have fun places that you have visited that are not on this list please leave it in the comments section.


  • Rufus&Bee TwinWaters - This is the ultimate experience for everyone - it is a one stop shop. It has an arcade, restaurant that serves really delicious food and a bar. While you are in there you will forget about the hustle and bustle of Lagos- it is another world of it's own and one of the prime spots in Lagos.
  • Xcite Virtual Reality - This is located at Jakande, Circle Mall, Lekki. Its a Pioneer Virtual Reality Game Arcade and Fun Experience Center in Lagos. Perfect for whole family relaxation, virtual reality play and entertainment, corporate team events,birthday parties, and education in Virtual Reality. Complete with multiple Gaming Simulators and Vive Pro stations.
  • Landmark Beach - If you are looking for a children friendly beach in Lagos, then go to Landmark beach. Get your beach wear, hats, sunglasses and prepare for a day out in the sun with sea and sand. 
  • Lufasi Park, Sangotedo - If you are trying to get close to nature then visit Lufasi Park - it is an urban forest dedicated for people to connect and interact with nature. It is fantastic for picnics and best to come in groups.
  • Maxtivity - Maxtivity is located at Circle Mall Lekki and is designed to thrill all age groups including mom and dad. With addictive attractions to give you a maxed out EXPERIENCE. Maxtivity is great because it has multiple side attractions Multiple Attractions-your energy cannot exhaust the attractions. From Jumping to Virtual Reality -Maxtivity has Wall climbing, bumper car rides, 9d virtual reality, Arcades, Wall Climbing, tramopoline and more. 
  • Funworld Novare Mall Sangotedo - Novare Mall is reportedly the biggest Mall/Shopping Centre in Lagos and within it are so many shops, sights including Funworld. There are Games and Rides, Playgrounds, Party Room and more.
  • Omu Resort - Plan to spend the whole day here if you want to visit. There is so much to do and the tickets would be worth it. There is a zoo that is a home to so many animals, from Lions to Ostriches...they've got it. There are fun rides and a waterpark for kids. There's a shop that sells refreshments but it is advisable to bring your own refreshment.
  • Lekki Conservation Center - This is a popular nature park in Lagos. It is a great place to see monkeys, peacocks, and some cheeky monkeys. If you are up for it you can try the canopy walk (it offers a great view of the preserve and it is the Longest Canopy Walk in Africa). LCC is also fantastic for picnics, so bring your own meals because you will definitely need refreshment.
  • Hi Impact Planet - This is an Amusement, theme park that is located just on the outskirts of Lagos, along Lagos-Ibadan Express Way. There are lots of Games, Rides and Side Attraction. It is worth the visit.
  • Dream World Africana - Dream World Africana is an Amusement and Theme park around Ajah. It has Carousels, Bumper Cars, Bouncy Castles, Family Coasters that both kids and adults would love.
  • GET Arena - This is Nigeria's No 1 Go Kart experience. It also has an arcade, restaurant and bar. Get Arena is located in Oniru.
  • Ndubuisi Kanu Park Ikeja - This is an open park that has rides, bouncy castles and a play area that children will enjoy. Most of the time food is not allowed in, but you can purchase from the vendors within the park.
  • Klub De Lag - This is a Family Entertainment Centre located off Admiralty Way Lekki. Activities include Ice Skating, Wall Climbing, Swimming, Bowling, Golf. Games include Table Tennis, Fuseball and Snooker.
  • Mindscapes Museum - This is a children's museum in Lekki- an indoor play space where children can feed their curiosity and explore.
