  1. Make a list before you shop and stick to it: A shopping list can help you avoid buying unnecessary items and prevent impulse purchases that can add up quickly. Come up with a shopping List after going through your pantry and fridge, then work out what you need to buy!
  2. Plan your meals for the week ahead and make a shopping list based on what you need: Meal planning can help you avoid buying too much or too little food and ensure that you have ingredients for the meals you want to make.
  3. Buy in bulk for items that you use frequently: Buying in bulk can save you money in the long run, especially for items like rice, beans, and pasta.
  4. Look for sales and use coupons to save money: Scanning weekly ads and using coupons can help you save money on your grocery bill.
  5. Avoid shopping when you are hungry, as you may be more likely to buy impulsively: When you are hungry, you may be tempted to buy more than you need or make impulsive purchases.
  6. Buy generic or store-brand items instead of name-brand products: Store-brand items are often cheaper and can be just as good as name-brand products.
  7. Avoid pre-packaged and convenience foods: Pre-packaged and convenience foods tend to be more expensive than making meals from scratch.
