MY PRE-VALENTINE EXPERIENCE AT THE MTNF/MUSON VALENTINE CONCERT

If you follow me on snapchat, insatgram, Facebook, even twitter, you must have experienced the night with me. I' m a lover of the arts and the performances at the MTNF/MUSON Valentine Concert blew me away! It was awesome! I cannot believe we have such talent in Nigeria; I sang along when Joshua David and Miracle Ogor performed the Elephant Medley from Moulin Rouge and I was on my feet, clapping frantically while "wowing" after Perpetual Atife aka Perpie played the Saxophone to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You"...that was emotional for me sha.

It was a memorable evening for lovers of classical music present at the MUSON alumni pre-valentine concert event which was osted by MTN Foundation in collaboration with MUSON and it took place at the Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan Lagos. I've had many lovely experiences at the MUSON Centre.

I arrived in time for the red carpet reception, followed by an intimate cocktail mixer and light strolls around the tranquil atmosphere of the MUSON garden. It was lovely-I love Cocktail.

The Valentine concert, that can be described as one of the best for the love season witnessed the melodious rendition of classical music, opera and contemporary Nigerian tunes that left the audience thoroughly thrilled.

There were exciting performances by the MTNF MUSON Alumni; the a classical rendition of Nigerian Hit song ‘Mad over You’ by Run Town’, and a mimetic performance of P Square’s ‘Ifunannya’ and ‘Bank Alert’. Debbie soul Performed Ileke, Segun was just making us cry when he played his saxophone to George Benson's "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You. I cannot describe how wonderful the performances were-you'll see it on my vlog next week!
