This is how we spent Christmas this year, 2016. Growing up as a child I was always so excited about Christmas-I looked up to my parents to create the perfect Christmas...as I grew older I realised that being an adult comes with responsibilities. Now I'm a parent, I have to make Christmas a fun, memorable time for my little one. These are the times he will remember and hopefully always cherish. I spent Christmas thinking about the circle of life.

It is gradually dawning on me that Christmas is for kids: you have to do all you can to create special, long lasting memories for them, and the first step is usually this "Christmas Cloth" business. As a child that was always the highlight-what I'm wearing for Christmas to Church. Till I graduated to that person responsible for cooking Christmas food. Here I am now. The Mummy. The Wife. The Organiser of Christmas.

This has got to be the most requested video/blog post I have had and I can understand why. If you've been with me from the beginning you watched me go from lepa to orobo and now I'm basically a skinny girl in transit (I love that show!). I went from size 8 to size 16 real quick after getting pregnant and having a baby all within 1 year...I never esperrrred it! As a Lifestyle blogger I was not allowed to be an orobo in peace as the comments I got were unpleasant, add hormones into the matter, it was not an easy time.

I have a great recipe for puff-puff that my mom shared on this blog, yes she did! Did you miss it? Click HERE to see it! Her puff-puff had pepper and onions-it's a favourite way for me to make puff-puff. I got a lot, I mean A LOT of request to show how you can do puff-puff without touching it so much because some people just don't like hands in their food, I can understand that. In this recipe I share how you can make puff puff with minimal ingredients and without touching it...yes! Still awesome tasting, still round and fabulous! Because if you've not started gearing up for 2017, you're probably too late!
This might as well be A Note To Self but i'm sharing it with you all because I know I'm not the only one that needs to shed some of this negative weight and step into 2017 like a BOSS! The year is not officially ended but I don pack all my load, I don dey ready...No chill. I don't want to wait till the 31st, during Cross Over service to start thinking about things like new years resolutions. Thinking about prepping now for the new year like running a relay race....you cannot afford to be docile if you want to win, you gats dey jog as your partner is running forward and then you grab the baton and GO!

Hello Squad!!! Once again SisiWeekly is here on a MONDAY, how great is our God?!!!!! I've repented. One of my favourite cousins passed during the week and we had a funeral...it was a sad, heart breaking event. It reminded me of how transient life can be and encouraged me to live a better life, one I would be proud of, and I started thinking about serious things like "Legacies"...

One can never have too many great recipes of the same food. I present you with Iya Basira's Buka stew recipe! This one is using assorted meats and the preparation method I learnt by interviewing a few madam "buka"s....have you ever gone to the market and asked a vendor for a recipe? I do it all the time, you should try it. This is how I discovered many ways of making delicious dishes. With this recipe, I took on the #SmileWithMAGGI challenge by cooking for my loved ones and making them smile. If you watch the video below, you will see my parents loved my Buka Stew! What is that ONE meal you cook for you loved ones that makes them smile? Share here or on My Instagram Page what that dish is. When I wrote the last article about iron deficiency (click here to find it), honestly, I hadn’t thought it would be so much of a big deal. I had only responded to a cause I felt obliged to be a part of, being a woman myself. However I must confess the responses that followed the article have been nothing short of an eye opening as well as encouraging.
The intention of the title is not to scare or stigmatize any reader but to generate an intelligent discussion about the scourge of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. In a country of 189 million people, 3.5 million may seem like an insignificant number. However, I know of some countries with population’s less than 3.5 million people and I cannot imagine what the future of such a country would look like if all their citizens were infected with HIV/AIDS. The picture of such an imagination would be a monumental tragedy of devastating proportions! Horrendous statistics in Nigeria pegs the HIV/AIDS infected population at 3.5 million and either way you look at it, it is no mean figure.
Despite the Economy Recession People Are still Getting Paid
According to Richard Branson, CRYPTO CURRENCY will transform the world. Dangote, one of Africa's wealthiest takes risk, and he's never afraid of new investment. Are you still waiting for the naira to rise above the Dollar, well Naira, Dollar, Euro etc. are all fiat currency and are subject to rise and fall.
I bring to you THE BILLION COIN (TBC), a crypto currency that has come to end poverty globally, the Billion coin is a paradigm shift, and it’s a belief and truth of the moment.
