MONDAY CHIT-CHAT- PLESS YA HAND!

Hello my hunnybunnies! How body? How was your weekend? I expect most of your responses to be about how election went in your area if you’re in Nigeria because we were all advised to only go out to vote and then remain indoor my feet never smell my doormot this weekend. I spent my time watching Frozen (again)..."Let it gooooooooo"...LOL

THE DRESS...NOT THAT ONE!

Today’s gist is about The Dress…no not that dress that colour blind people were calling blue and black (I believe it was white and gold sha). Not that dress. This dress is another dress that my friend and I saw during the weekend.

We were walking past a boutique when a dress got both our attention- it was a yellow tunic with one kind design like that, it looked so pretty- perfect dress for a casual date with bae. Me, I have perfected the art of looking and comoting eyes…I never ever enter boutiques. Nigerian boutiques. Sorry, Lagos boutiques. My friend on the other hand could not comot eye, the dress was calling her through the shinning glass- "come, come and buy, come and buy".

So we went in, me I pretended I wasn't interested in the dress and went to look for other items they had to offer. I could sense that in that moment the sales girl was confused-she didn't know whether to follow me, or keep her eyes glued on my friend that was pricing the market. Thank God she went to meet my friend because I really really dislike when I am window shopping and a sales assistant is breathing down my neck. Can’t a girl just come and look and go? LOL

PROMISED LAND STAGES RCCG EPIC CRUCIFIXTION STORY

- Crucifixion victims had the bones in their legs broken to enable soldiers nail it properly to the cross.

- Fear of torture and death led Peter to deny Jesus.

- The same crowd that hailed Jesus called for his execution less than a week later .

- Jesus’ crucifixion was one of the goriest of its kind in roman and Jewish history.

- Jesus died faster partly due to the extent of the injuries he sustained prior to the actual crucifixion.

Do you know all the little details that are part of the crucifixion story? Can you understand the level of sacrifice he made?

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Promised Land presents #TheJesusIncident a stage play that tells the crucifixion of Jesus from a different point of view.

See Jesus from the eyes of a reporter, a mother, a thief, an onlooker, a friend and a victim on Saturday 4th of April at RCCG Promised Land, Hitech Road (Beside Lagos Business School), Ajah

#TheJesusIncident ….Don’t miss it!

IWO NIKAN BY ARAMIDE HAS BEEN ON REPLAY!

I was going through my Youtube subscription feed and I came across this video by Aramide. I like that it's a different kind of tune, not every time shake your bombom or jinjinkpakpa music,  sometimes songs like this make much more sense.

I love the song, the video and the girl is cute! LOL. I've never listened to any of her songs before so I proceeded to watch all her videos which is why I added another video at the bottom. Are you feeling the babe?

TELL THE WORLD HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR MOM & GET REWARDED

Everyone has a distinct recollection of a particularly touching moment when the realization of how much a mom is worth finally dawned and Mothers' Day was carved out for us to do something special for these very special people.

An epiphany that is so strong, that it stays for a long time – if not forever, is what a mom memory carries for different individuals. That moment is nostalgic, emotional and unforgettable! It enforces the bond created at birth between a mother and a child and so if your mom is still alive, please leave whatever you are doing and go tell her that you love her because that is the only thanks she has ever wanted and desired.

GUYS: 5 SIGNS SHE'S NOT INTO YOU AT ALL!!

Today I want to help my brothers, I know some of you read my blog...shout out to you! I was listening to Sharing Life Issues With ChazB and this bros was complaining that he's in a relationship with a babe, but she never calls, hardly picks his calls, he went on to list a bunch of things and was asking what he should do.

My guy, I want to help you today-if there's this babe you've been toasting since forever and no matter what you do , she no gel for you, then you have to move on. You might think you're in a relationship but it's all one chance. The good thing is that there are so many tell tale signs but it's like you men don't see them quickly, and most women would hardly tell you when they are not interested, they want you to figure it out, now shine your eyes:

HAVE YOU HEARD THE FAIRY ONE DROP SONG ?

PLANTAIN CHIPS "KPEKERE" RECIPE - SISIYEMMIE

Fellow foodies, how's the rumbling in your tummy? I promised to make a video about making plantain chips aka Kpekere and here it is! Clap for me! Clap for my mom too because she was the one who came around with a huge bunch of unripe plantain that would have wasted if she didn't suggest making chips with them-it's a great way to preserve plantain and nice for snacking + serving guest. So if you visit me in the next couple of weeks na kpekere you go chop belleful.

It should be the most easiest thing to cook, I mean, look at the recipe below and watch the video. Ehen, hope you've subscribed to my Youtube Channel? Big things are happening there oh and I'm getting close to 10,000 subscribers; help me reach it ! Click HERE

HOW TO BE RELEVANT AT A NIGERIAN PARTY (OWAMBE)

Nigerian’s throw the most extravagant, fun parties ever! Argue with me in the comments section if you don’t agree-no party like a Lagos party. My favorite Owambe’s are wedding receptions. So why do I want to be relevant at another person’s owambe you ask? Well it is just for the reason that I do not want to be a spectator/observer, sitting in the corner tweeting about how much fun I’m having when I’m not., I want to be an active enjoyer of the occasion. So let me tell you 5 things you can do to be relevant at an Owambe:

MONGOLIAN LOOSE CURLY- MERCY HAIR EXTENSIONS!

Hey lovelies, lately I've been wearing this hair that I received from Mercy Hair Extensions in January. It's different from the previous extensions I've had; it's long, curly and soft! Makes me feel very very girly. I got it in 24, 22, 20 and an 18 inch closure- the closure is very natural looking (see the video) and it was my first time wearing a closure! No more a closure vaaargin. LOL.

YOUR THOUGHTS ON EKU EDEWOR'S SHOOT FOR THISDAY STYLE? #LIGHTSKIN #DARKSKIN

I saw the photos for Eku and Lynxxx's ThisDay Style‘s Sunday 1st March 2015 edition and to be honest I saw nothing wrong with it... until someone pointed out that why is she light skinned and her "slaves" dark skinned i.e "light skin being glorified as queen while being served by the dark skinned minions" Why are the "slaves" so young? (unlooks).

Is this picture promoting #TeamLightSkin as better off? (This battle will never end)

Me I don't know. But the more I look at the photo, the more I think I agree with the critics. I know the shoot was to portray cultural heritage...still. What do you think?

MONDAY CHIT-CHAT: STARTING OVER!

Hello my people…

How body?

Hope you had a fabulous weekend?

I was going to write a very nice post this morning complete with pictures and video clips because I had a really good weekend but all that changed when I inserted my disk into my laptop and discovered it wasn’t reading! I’m actually fighting the urge not to sweat under the AC that is blowing me before people will begin to think that something more than picture is worrying me.
